NOT...He did enjoy body surfing and I am not a complete baffoon (spelled) and I know that he probably saw his own Pamela Anderson while combing the beach. Don't worry... the water wasn't that deep!
The beautiful smiles of my little bro, my mom and my Annabelle remind me that humans may be lovely to look at but smiles like this usually mean there is a heart of gold at the center of their beings! Stay Golden my dears!
Matthew finally arrived, found his partner in crime,(my husband) and the two of them convinced a waitress to come up to the room and deliver mohitos!
Grandpa and Reed did find a bikini that they really liked that week in Cabo. Both are quite reserved and never gave up their favorite. Both are excited about Cobber football this fall. Really...Uncle Matt is too!
We all gathered at the kiddie pool to say our good byes Andrew and Gramma Rosie posed one last time before the long flight home. Andrew gives great hugs!
I can't believe I don't have more pix of Anne and Angie. They spent a whole day together at the marina. They swam with the dolpins and did what every 13 year old loves: Shop! Thanks Angie...I know she had wonderful time with her auntie!
After whale watching and snorkeling we returned to the Marina. G and G took Lily back to the resort and the rest of us went in search of some grub. The rest enjoyed some squid while I waited patiently for some real food! We stopped at a Harley Davidson street restaurant to whet our whistles. Matt and Anne posed perfectly!
The Heftas were checked out and ready for the long flight home. Ang headed back to Denver early while G and G and Matt and Lil got to hang out by the kiddie pool. Lily would not let us put her down so we took advantage of our last hugs with her until graduation!
In July we celebrated Mom and Dad's 47th wedding anniversary at Lake Sallie. Cabo was our way of saying, "Thanks" for being great parents! Thanks for being a part of our special vacation.
He may have arrived late but as Reedo said, "At least we had two days of rest before Uncle Matt came!" After a very long walk on a beach...we backed our way into The Office. Matt pulled out the moustaches and a good time was had by all!
It took eight months to get the whole trip organized. Matt lost his passport and there were a few scares at the airport but we made it! Ron organized the afternoon sail on the Cabo Blue. We watched whales dancing in the water, enjoyed the best tuna fish sandwiches ever and experienced the miracles that families give to each other.
It would be impossible to choose a favorite photo...Lord knows there are so many. But I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt this is my favorite pix with my Matty.
Lily and Anne were drawn to the sand. Perhaps it was the lull of the ocean or the strange verbage of the seagulls. I was drawn to them both and of course, I couldn't wait to photograph my two favorite girls.
